Decorator Debuts Web Site and Sophisticated “Summer Breeze” Design at Greenwich Show House

Marcia Tucker, a Greenwich-based upscale interior designer, simultaneously launches new Web site and elegant family room design at local Merrywood Designer Show House

Greenwich, Connecticut, — May 31, 2006 – Marcia Tucker, the hot, new Greenwich-based upscale interior designer, debuted a new Web site today with the same appeal and sophistication of one of her beautifully decorated homes. To attract new clientele, in both commercial and residential spaces, Marcia acknowledged recent online trends and decided to showcase her work through a sophisticated Web based portfolio. Born in Rio de Janeiro, but raised in San Francisco and New York City, Marcia’s seasoned cultural background has led to a subtle, elegant and diverse feel in her designs. Educated at the KLC School of Interior Design in London, Marcia’s work consequently reflects the conflux of traditional English elegance and contemporary European influences. Her firm offers interior design services ranging from complete project management to intimate and unique boutique spaces, construction jobs and renovations. Marcia is currently designing the new Health, Wealth & Fitness Center, Fit for Life, set to begin construction later this year, which will feature her clean and crisp design.

Marcia timed the launch of the site to coincide with her highlight in the Merrywood Designer Show House. The Merrywood Show House, located in Greenwich, Connecticut, features over 20,000 square feet of magnificently designed spaces, decorated by some of the finest interior decorators in the Northeast. Marcia’s extraordinary design of the home’s family room captures the relaxed “Summer Breeze” feel of Rio de Janeiro with unique details that complement easy summer living and modern entertaining.
